Workshop with Lou – Asana as a Meditation to Quiet the Mind

In this workshop, Lou will present a sequence of familiar poses to help us quiet the brain. Participants will approach the poses with a quiet mind and stay in the poses for a longer period of time, observing silence.  Connection with the breath will help each student settle into awareness of their Self.  In other words, you will “do the pose” less to better explore “being in the pose”.

With the help of props, appropriate support will be offered by the instructor to students of all levels;  taking care of the body so one may go beyond it.

Lou will help you shift your focus in your practice from trying to achieve something with your yoga to connection and being.
